Carrie has a way of inspiring and teaching her students to become better thinkers and writers. After working with my son in 11th grade, he became less hesitant and more motivated to write his personal essay for college application in just a few sessions. Carrie meets kids where they’re at without judgment and makes a once hard task more fun. With Carrie’s help my son got into college. The writing skills he learned gave him a leg up for when it was time to use these skills for application to medical school. My son met with Carrie for a tune-up session to increase his chances of getting in. He/We definitely credit Carrie for being a contributor to increasing his chances. The essay requirements were beyond the norm. Today, my son proudly is a first year medical student at Uniformed Services University (USU) in the Army studying to become an orthopedic physician.
